Danielle lloyd Biography Information
Danielle Lloyd (born 16 December 1983, Liverpool) is an English lingerie and glamour model, and former Miss England (2004).
She was stripped of her title of Miss Great Britain 2006 after posing for nude pictures featured in the December 2006 of Playboy magazine, and her tabloid-alleged affair with one of the judges, her footballer boyfriend at that time Teddy Sheringham. As a participant in the 2007 series of Celebrity Big Brother, Lloyd, along with others, was accused of using bullying tactics and making racist comments directed against the Indian actress Shilpa Shetty. According to reports from the tabloid News of the World, Sheringham has decided to end his relationship with Lloyd as a result of her appearance on Celebrity Big Brother.
Lloyd was born in Penny Lane, Liverpool in 1983. Her parents, Jackie and Arthur Lloyd, are a bank manager and an engineer, respectively. At the age of 3 months, Lloyd contracted whooping cough, resulting in damage to her lungs. This led to her developing asthma.
She attended St Hilda’s CoE High School for Girls. Lloyd was a keen on sports as a child, and competed nationally for the Sports Acrobatics Liverpool Team at the Centre of Excellence.
At age 16 Lloyd began modelling, frequently entering competitions in and around Liverpool. Upon finishing school, she decided to pursue a dual career in modelling and as a beautician specialising in massage. She is also a qualified nail technician.
However, just as she was beginning her modelling career, Lloyd was brutally attacked by her boyfriend of the time. She was dragged from her moving car after an argument with him, suffering terrible abrasions and severe bruising to her body and losing most of her hair.
Lloyd’s natural 32AA form has been repeatedly altered by surgery, to the point where it is now 34FF.
Lloyd was crowned Miss England on 17 July 2004[7] and competed at Miss World 2004.
On 26 February 2006, Lloyd was named Miss Great Britain 2006.
On November 2, 2006, she was stripped of her title “following recent claims in the press and magazines and the publicity given on the Playboy Web site for their next issue”, according to the Miss Great Britain website. The claim they were referring to was that Lloyd had been dating Teddy Sheringham, who was one of the judges of the pageant, for more than two months before her victory. This was reported by the media after she allegedly said in an interview that Sheringham bought her a pair of shoes for Christmas. Lloyd continues to claim that the relationship started after the pageant, and that the interview was made up. She attributes her topless shoot for the December 2006 issue of Playboy as the primary reason for the loss of her title.
On 11 January 2007 it was revealed that Lloyd was being sued by the Miss Great Britain company for breaking her contract and bringing the company into disrepute. The company is asking for full revelation of the sums she earned for the Playboy pictures, plus costs.
Lloyd made a memorable appearance on BBC One’s Test the Nation. When asked “Who was Winston Churchill - a rapper, US President, the PM or King?”, Lloyd answered “Wasn’t he the first black president of America? There’s a statue of him near me - that’s black.”
As a result of her behaviour on the show, Danielle Lloyd lost six-figure modelling contracts with motorcycle insurance firm Bennetts, fashion label Rocawear, and adult wear website becheeky.com among minor sponsors.
In the immediate aftermath of Lloyd’s appearance in Celebrity Big Brother, several tabloids reported that her then boyfriend, Teddy Sheringham, ended his relationship with her; the reasons for doing so include his own sense of disgust at her actions on the programme; the fact that he plays in a team that is made up of over 50% non-white players; and because of his concern for the safety his own off-field commercial activities and reputation.
When surgeons performed a third boob job on Danielle Lloyd 10 days ago – enhancing her breasts to a 34FF, they found a suspicious lump.
A biopsy test is being performed on a sample of the tissue and she is anxiously waiting for the results. ‘It could be cancer but they will not know until they investigate,’ a pal of Danielle’s tells The News Of The World.’ Whatever the outcome, Danielle – who before her ops was a 32AA – is reported to be having one of her new implants removed.
This is a second cancer scare for the 23-year-old who had a benign lump removed from her breast before she became Miss Great Britain.
Danielle was involved in the Celebrity Big Brother bullying controversy earlier this year but apologised for her behaviour towards Bollywood star Shilpa Shetty.
A source close to the West Ham footballer said he felt forced to act or risk undoing years of good work trying to kick racism out of the sport. A third of Teddy’s team-mates are black.
The source said: “No matter how much she says she’s not racist, no one’s ever going to believe her. Teddy’s in an impossible position playing in a mixed race team like West Ham.” Some of his team-mates have been bitterly hurt by her comments and reckon Dani’s gone over the top. But the source said: “Teddy’s never had any intention of meeting Danielle outside the BB house and has not co-operated with the show at all. But the source said: “He’s found the entire appearance toe-curling and can’t accept the way she’s been. Now he’s washing his hands of the woman.” Being ditched will mean Danielle having to move her things out of Teddy’s Essex mansion. The source went on: “Danielle’s got a load of stuff there. She loves it at his place and will be devastated.”
Since Jade told housemates she believed she was being evicted for racism, Danielle has been frantically trying to cosy up to Shilpa. She told the Bollywood actress: “I am young and naive. I feel disgusted the way I treated you.” Meanwhile, fellow bully Jo O’Meara, 27, reckons her family will be delighted by her bitchy Big Brother display. The former S Club 7 singer said: “My family and friends will be proud of me for doing it. I thought I would be here for one week. I know a lot have walked but I’m still here.”
Miss Lloyd revealed that she had been in a relationship with English premiership footballer Teddy Sheringham more than two months before the contest in February - it had previously been claimed that the two had only started their romance on the night of the pageant.
Speaking to Eve magazine, in an interview reported in British newspapers on Friday, she commented about a pair of shoes that Sheringham bought her for Christmas, saying: “Teddy will never forget that sight. We were still in bed when I opened” the present, according to The Daily Mirror tabloid. Contest organisers were also displeased after recent publicity related to Playboy magazine, which said she would be posing topless in the next edition.
“Following recent claims in the press and magazines and the publicity given on the Playboy website for their next issue, we have sadly decided to strip Danielle Lloyd of her title as ‘Miss Great Britain 2006′ effective immediately,” said a statement published on the Miss Great Britain website yesterday.
“We are very sad that this action has been necessary and we wish her the best for the future.”
